Christianity Versus Secular Humanism

January 26, 2017

We live in a world that offers many different worldviews that attack the views of Christianity and the Biblical Christian Worldview. One of these alternative worldviews, in particular, is Secular Humanism. Secular Humanism completely rejects the views of the Christian worldview and focuses on the . . .

Understanding the Christian Worldview

January 19, 2017

A worldview is a basis of thought for how we, as humans, interpret the world around us. The foundations in which a worldview is built is typically focused on religion, science, or a combination of the two. A biblical worldview focuses on the world from a Godly perspective, as opposed to a secular . . .

Your Passion Lies in Your Heartbreak

January 12, 2017

Photo by Rebecca Gilligan I heard once that the thing that breaks your heart the most is the root in which your passion lies. The most heartbreaking thing to me is children who are neglected, abused, or don’t have enough. Maybe that’s why I am currently assistant teaching. Every time I hear a story . . .

It's Time to be Naked

January 5, 2017

Photo by Erica DeBronkartIt’s in moments of pure spiritual, mental, and emotional nakedness in which I find that I feel the happiest. I’ve been practicing this in my own life but have found it difficult. I do find it easier when I see other people living out their nakedness and being their pure, . . .

Goodbye 2016, Hello Truth

January 1, 2017

Have you ever believed a lie about yourself? I certainly have. The lie I have been believing all of this year is that “I’m just not good enough”. I know this is a lie because I have so many reasons to believe otherwise. I have so many people who love me and show me that I am in fact “good enough” . . .

Meet Caylee

Hey there, I’m Caylee! I am 25 years old and fairly new to the blogging world. A little over a year ago I discovered my gift and love of writing and so the idea of Coffee Talk was born. My vision for this blog is for people to sit around with a cup of hot coffee (or tea or cocoa, or whatever you fancy) and discuss “hot” or intimate topics with one another, and sharing bold stories. I am newly married as of July 2017 to the most amazing man. I couldn't be more blessed! Currently, I am working a full time nanny job by day and writing posts for this blog, as well as working on my first book (more info to come!). I pray this blog is a way to spread the word of the coolest guy I know, Jesus Christ, with the world around me and to help others feel like they don’t have to go through this whole life thing alone. If you’d like to know more, read the posts on my main page, or shoot me an email at caylee@coffeetalk.online! I look forward to chatting with you! Much Love, Caylee
